The Beef Show at the Cass County Fair on Monday looked a little different this year because of changes due to the coronavirus outbreak. The Cow-Calf and Feeder Calf shows were held first, starting at 10 a.m. followed by the traditional Beef Show with classes of market steers, market heifers and beef breeding heifers. Champions were picked following the show, instead of in the evening, like other years. Award winners were as follows: 4-H Grand Champion Market Heifer: Jace Thomsen; 4-H Reserve Champion Market Heifer: Jake Oathoudt; 4-H Grand Champion Market Steer: Morgan Will (pictured above); 4-H Reserve Champion Market Steer: Carli Henderson; FFA Grand Champion Market Heifer: Claire Pellett; FFA Reserve Champion Market Heifer: Emma Mundorf; FFA Grand Champion Market Steer: Callee Pellett (pictured below); and FFA Reserve Champion Market Steer: Carson Cary. Watch for more fair results and photos in a special fair section coming soon!
