The Missouri Pork Association is now accepting applications for its 2021 Youth Pork Ambassador program.
The program allows students to actively interact with leaders in Missouri’s pork industry, along with receiving a $1,000 scholarship for any technical school, community college or four-year institution, a news release stated.
The main goal of the ambassador program is to promote the Missouri Pork Association and the pork industry at various events. Ambassadors will attend six events throughout the year.
Applicants must be a senior in high school up to a sophomore in college as of January 1 of the year they begin the program. Applications and three letters of recommendation are due by Dec. 11.
More information is available through the Youth Pork Ambassador website, or by contacting the association’s Director of Communications Diane Slater by calling 573-445-8375 or emailing diane@mopork.com.
