Call it pork roll or call it Taylor Ham. Either way, you can get a taste of this New Jersey staple at Pork Roll Palooza III on Saturday in Phillipsburg.
The free festival offering food and drink, live entertainment and more is being held in Shappell Park, South Main and Sitgreaves streets. It was previously held along the Delaware River before being canceled for 2019 as organizers revamped the festival.
This year’s edition is being held amid the coronavirus pandemic, and guests are asked to wear face coverings, wash hands frequently at stations set up on the festival grounds and maintain social distancing from people outside their group.
Volunteers are counting attendees as they come and go to stay within state limits on outdoor gatherings.
Event parking is available at several marked lots along South Main Street.
The Phillipsburg Downtown Association presents the festival, and all the details including the lineup of entertainment are available at porkrollpalooza.org.
Take a look through the photos above for a glimpse at what you can expect to find at the festival continuing until 5 p.m.
