SALEM – The McArtor Family in memory of Mary McArtor Reynolds will sponsor the Fourth Thursday Banquet in Salem from 5 p.m. until sold out (no later than 7 p.m.) at the Salem Memorial Building. Meals are limited to one per person in a vehicle. The menu will include stuffed pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with ham, tossed salad, fresh vegetables, fresh fruit and cupcakes. AMVETS 25 meeting canceled
SALEM — AMVETS Post 45 will not hold its meetings Oct. 25. The next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 1. Trustees meet at 10:30 a.m., Executive Committee at 11 a.m., and the membership at noon.
