Photos of Menu Items for Shanghai Holiday Kitchen at the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays
*NEW* Red-stewed Beef Rice Bowl – $9.50
This bowl is brimming with braised tender meat. There is a level of spice to it that brings an interesting flavor to the dish.
It’s a good serving size, but the weaker of the two bowls.
*NEW* Curry Chicken Rice Bowl – $8.00
This is great. It’s braised thigh meat so it’s a little fatty but very tender. There was a nice curry flavor.
They did dump a huge spoonful of red pepper flakes on it, so beware of that. But it was tasty and a good serving size. We would get it again.
*NEW* House-made Crab and Cheese Wontons – $6.00
The wontons are fine, but they didn’t have a lot of crab. You get two wontons for the price, and they’re pretty tasty, so if you’re in the mood for these, we wouldn’t discourage it.
*NEW* “Panda” Bubble Tea: Classic Milk Tea with Black and White Bobas – $7.50
This milk tea is fantastic. It’s sweet, but not overly so, and the boba pearls provide a licorice-like flavor to counter the milk.
Tsingtao Beer (4.7% ABV) – $4.75 (6 oz) / $8.25 (12 oz)
Untappd says: “Tsingtao Beer has a pleasant aroma and a well-balanced taste. It has high-malty flavor and well-hopped character.”
Jasmine Draft Beer – $5.00 (6 oz) / $8.50 (12 oz)
Surprise! This one’s not brewed in China—or even made there! In fact, it’s brewed locally in Florida with a slapped-on Jasmine name, sort of like how local brewery Crooked Can made a unique draft for Morimoto Asia at Disney Springs. It’s a straightforward, unfiltered wheat beer with a small floral hint. Very drinkable, and we believe this is the only spot to actually get this beer.
Dragonfly: Jose Cuervo Tequila Gold ($18/bottle), Vodka, Mango Syrup and Orange Juice – $13.00
You can ignite your taste buds with this drink, with Jose Cuervo Tequila Gold, vodka, mango syrup and orange juice.
Connoisseurs of Jose Cuervo will definitely know that this is Gold tequila instead of Silver, as the taste is very prevalent. It’s also a sweet drink with lots of mango flavor. Overall, we found it yummy and refreshing.
Marco Boba: Amaretto, Iced Coffee, Milk and Boba – $12.50
To be honest, this drink tastes mostly like coffee. We didn’t get much of the amaretto flavor, but to be fair, it’s a very subtle flavor. That being said, you can definitely taste the alcohol in this one. In fact, all three of the beverages we tried had heavy alcohol pours.
The Lucky Mo: Peach Schnapps, Peach Syrup, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice and Coconut Milk – $12.50
We definitely felt lucky with this drink. It’s made with peach schnapps, peach syrup, orange juice, pineapple juice, and coconut milk, and you can taste every flavor, though it’s heavy on the peach and pineapple. We found it to be very refreshing and delicious.
