A Hannaford supermarket in Rockland has recalled ground beef sold on Tuesday.
The product could include pieces of metal as the result of a grinder that suffered an equipment failure, according to Hannaford Supermarkets.
The affected product includes 81 percent Angus with a use-by date of Nov. 27, 81 percent lean with a use-by date of Nov. 27, 85 percent lean with a use-by date of Nov. 27 and 91 percent Angus with a use-by date of Nov. 26.
