Has a 48-year beef been settled, thanks to Carton & Roberts?
On Wednesday, a caller named Eddie called in and told Craig & Evan a story about how, allegedly, John Sterling welched on Eddie’s rightful victory in a call-in competition back in the 1970s, hitting the kill button when Eddie called in to name five baseball players with body parts as last names and dropped one that sounded like a vulgar euphemism:
Well, on Thursday, in the shank of the Carton & Roberts evening, Craig & Evan had John Sterling on, and brought Eddie back to re-live the call-in…and it seems as if peace has been made, and Sterling accepted and acknowledged the player, if not the euphemistic last name being an actual body part.
