Tom Brady will bear an extra heavy load Sunday in the Super Bowl.
If Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers win, customers who bought Akaushi semen from HeartBrand Beef will get their pricey purchase for free.
The semen in question comes from a 7-year-old Akaushi — a prized Japanese Wagyu breed — named after the quarterback. The beefier Brady, who has already sired about 75 calves, is sought after for his superior fatty marbling.

"He has the ability to pass that marbling, which is intramuscular fat — which creates great tasting steaks — on to his offspring," said Jordan Beeman, president of HeartBrand. "So just as Tom Brady is able to throw winning passes and win games, our Brady is able to pass on his marbling and his great beef eating experience on to his offspring."
People seeking Brady's semen can take advantage of the Super Bowl sale from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. Customers who buy five units at $55 apiece on Wagyu365.com will not owe a dime if the other Brady lifts the Lombardi Trophy for the seventh time.
Wagyu meat, known for its deep red coloring —much like the Buccaneers jerseys — and intensely flavored marbling, sells at a premium. Texas ranchers like HeartBrand also profit from selling semen, priced at $20 to $4,000 per unit, to customers worldwide.
In San Antonio, Akaushi beef is available at the Tri-County Meat Market and on Bohanan’s menu, where it sells for over $100 a steak.

Brady lives on the family-owned HeartBrand ranch near Harwood, an hour's drive east of San Antonio. Named by football fans who appreciated the quarterback's success but were not necessarily Patriots fans, he is now one of the ranch's top producing bulls.
HeartBrand had already sold 125 units of Brady's semen by noon Thursday.
It usually takes one unit to artificially inseminate a cow, with a 50 percent chance the cow will get pregnant with each dose, according to Beeman. His company offers semen at low prices in the hopes they can buy calves back from customers at seven months old and sell them for beef.
HeartBrand's president wants Brady — and the customers who bought his namesake's semen — to win on Sunday.
"It’ll be for the benefit of the breed if more producers are able to get this semen out," Beeman said.
