World Pork Expo to return to Des Moines in June
The World Pork Expo is returning to Des Moines. The World Pork Expo is now scheduled for June 9 through June 11 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Organizers said no animals will be allowed at this year's show, and they will not hold a cookout or barbeque contest. "A safe event is our No. 1 priority," said NPPC President Jen Sorenson. "We will implement appropriate precautionary measures to ensure a great experience for all World Pork Expo participants."
