Cottle’s Asphalt Maintenance was working Saturday morning at the site of the new beef barn at the Bedford County Fairgrounds in Bedford. Eyziak Cottle is shown rolling the barn floor in preparation of laying macadam this week. The Build the Beef Barn committee is raising funds to pay for the barn. A 50/50 raffle is under way with the drawing at the Fair Livestock Auction on July 31. Raffle tickets are available at Bedford Farm Bureau, Morral Farm Supply, the Bedford Fair office and from beef barn committee members or by calling 814-285-6880 and or 814-839-4491. Donations from individuals and businesses would be welcomed for the construction project and can be made at Somerset Trust or by calling the above phone numbers.
