Ingredients and Directions
- 1 package small potato rolls
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 12 slices farmer or Muenster cheese
- Onion slices, sautéed in butter
Brown beef. Layer bottom halves of rolls in a 9x13-inch pan. Place 6 slices of cheese over the bottom roll halves. Then top with the browned beef, sautéed onions and remaining cheese. Put tops of rolls on.
Sauce:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon minced onion
Mix ingredients; boil 1 to 2 minutes. Pour over top of sandwiches. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 F. Enjoy warm or cold.
