CARRINGTON, N.D. (NDSU Extension) – The North Dakota State University Carrington Research Extension Center’s beef production field day tour will be live this year.

It will be held on July 20.

The beef production tour is one of several tours that will be conducted during the center’s annual field day activities that day. Other tours will be on topics including agronomy, fruits and berries, and organic/sustainable agriculture.

The field day program will begin at 9 a.m. with coffee and a welcome. The beef tour will depart at 9:30 and continue until noon.

“The beef production tour is a good way to learn about the latest in cattle research and how to deal with the drought that is impacting North Dakota,” says Karl Hoppe, Extension livestock systems specialist at the Carrington Research Extension Center (CREC).
