Nashville Coop’s new permanent home base opens at 11 a.m. today at 300 Snelling Avenue South in St. Paul. The dual food trucks run by brothers Kamal and Arif Mohamed have become the hottest ticket amidst the weirdest summer of all time. Nashville Coop first rolled out earlier this year selling crusty, teneder fried chicken strips and not much else. The hot chicken delivers real heat and has fans crying happy tears around the metro area. But there is a Minnesota nice spice level for the capsicum-challenged. The new restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
To make this good news even better, at least one of the two trucks will remain in roaming operation throughout this week.
Fried chicken in finger and sandwich form along with Texas toast, slaw, and a few more treats are on the menu.
