WINDOM — Prime Pork in Windom has been renamed as HyLife, it was announced earlier this week. The name change follows HyLife’s purchase of 75% equity interest of Prime Pork LLC from Taylor Corporation earlier this year.
“Our company puts great emphasis on being a community partner,” HyLife President and Chief Executive Officer Grant Lazaruk said in a press release. “We are committed to our communities. We are committed to Windom and the surrounding area and are eager to continue to build on what Prime Pork has done.”
The press release on the Windom facility’s name change referenced HyLife’s core values, which include teamwork, striving to be the best, turning challenges into opportunities, community partners and empowering people.
“We are proud of our core values and the company culture that we embrace,” Lazaruk added. “We are excited to add the community of Windom to our team. We want the community to know that when they see our logo, they see a company that has their best interests in mind.”
In its commitment to Windom, HyLife has invested more than $20 million into the Windom plant and has added a second shift to provide further employment opportunities in the region. For more information about working on the HyLife team, visit hylife.com/windom.
